Comprehend the Situation

The mental health crisis hiding in plain sight

College campuses are in a quiet mental health emergency. Students face academic pressure, financial stress, social anxiety, and identity challenges — all at once, often for the first time without their family support system nearby.

University counseling centers have waitlists measured in weeks. Therapy costs $100–$200 per hour. Most students suffer in silence because asking for help still feels like weakness. MindBridge was built to be the barrier-free first step — the thing you turn to before the crisis, not after.

What

An AI-powered mental wellness companion providing 24/7 anonymous emotional support, mood tracking, and guided coping exercises designed specifically for college students.

Why

Mental health support should not be a privilege. Every student deserves access to tools that help them understand their emotions, build resilience, and reach out before a crisis hits — not only after one does.

Who

College students aged 18–24 experiencing anxiety, stress, loneliness, or academic overwhelm — especially those who would never walk into a campus counseling center on their own.

How we measure success

Daily active users · Mood check-in completion rate · Session length and return rate · User-reported wellbeing improvement scores · Escalation-to-counselor conversion rate.
